A Million Memories Blog Hop

Hello Ladies, Welcome to the Blog Hop! The hop starts today, Friday July 2nd through Sunday July 4th. Each blog will be showcasing a different project inspired by summer and all of its glory! Hop through each blog to check out the instructions for creating each project, then choose a project to recreate. Post your project in the AMM gallery and in this thread. You will have until Friday July 9th at midnight to post your project to be eligible to win an Echo Park Collection pack! More than one project created earns you another chance in the random drawing. Please be sure that projects are created especially for this contest. Good luck!

Today I would like to share a sketch with you that I created for this hop! If you chose my challenge I would like to see you use the sketch in some way, you can turn it, flip it etc. and use the technique of paper pleating on your project too.
Have you ever tried paper pleating before? You will see me do it alot on my projects not only with paper but ribbon also, it gives you page a little added dimension and texture.
First start with a few strips of paper, you can use your scraps for this too which is always a bonus :)

Fold or score at random lengths and angles along the strip, the bigger your angles the more of a wave look you will get.

This step is optional, If your happy with your pleats glue or sew them down onto your page. Or if you like a little ink you can distress the corners a little. You can leave the ends flat or cut them in a snake tonque shape absolutely up to you!

And here is the final result on my page.

Thank you so much for hopping with us today! Don't forget your playing for a Echo Park collection pack!!!
