Cards and Random Hearts

I joined the Card Team again over at LCOM, actually I was invited back as DT co-coordinator with Darlene, we are going to be offering more challenges, challenges with twists, RAKs, Random hearts etc etc. So if you need to work on your card making skills or just love making cards and want to be challenged and win some prizes hope on over to LCOM now :D

This week Emily asked us to all create a Valentines card, so for this week if you complete the challenge you get a Random Heart, if you mail it to someone special you will get another Random Heart, how cool is that!

Dreamer Reveal February Part #1

Hey Girlies. I heard on the grapevine that Laura at Dreamer is getting in LOTS of the new CHA lines, and a little birdie told me she already has Pink Paislee in. So come on over and help me bully her to list it NOW!!

I used Postcards from Paris as one of my DT assignments this month, such beautiful papers.

No close ups today, it's just too dark and gloomy, Actually I was asked about what I look forward to Spring the most, well I guess I just found the answer enough light for picture taking! Need to make a light box me thinks!

This weekend I went to St John NB with a friend to the LCOM crop. I had the most fabulous time, met some awesome new faces. we just had a laugh a minute and the most fabulous time. Cant wait for the next one.

I also made this cake for the girls, it seemed to go down well. {happy dance}

So You Think you Can Scrap? - Week 2

We have this super cool contest going on over at LCOM, it's too late to sign up for the contest but anyone is welcome to join in!
I didnt post last weeks layout on my blog just because I didnt like it! lol We had to do something Simple!! Well I dont really do simple and it showed!
Well this week was Monochromatic seriously when I think of Monochromatic I think of the Bazzill packs all shades of one colour, I went for green and white, I dont know to me it really works!

Twisted - Lets Build a Snowman

This week at Twisted sketches we had an amazing sketch, I love circles and Anam created a beautiful sketch with circles! The twist was numbers this was a little harder for me! I am one of those people with hundreds of numbers left over on my thickers packs, saving them thinking one day I will use them, maybe I'll make 300 advent calenders for next christmas! Yup I seriously have a number problem!

Anyhoo I managed to incorporate a few numbers into my title

LCOM Featured Product & Random Hearts!

At LCOM we have a new Valentines themed challenge hitting the forum over the next month, YOU have to check it out, The DT will be posting the odd challenges here and there, you can earn hearts from competing in SYTYCS & the 52 Sketch pick up, there is no rhyme or reason completely random and 150% FUN! My featured product was a little late this week, we have all been feeling run down nothing too serious just worn out, sneezy, colds etc.

Twisted Sketches #30

Happy New Year everyone! I didnt even manage to stay awake til midnight, I was so tired even with an afternoon nap which is something I never do! At 11.30 I was wiped out and went to bed!

Twisted Sketch #30 went live last night, wonderful sketch I'll definately be using it again! The twist this wee was Glitter, I used a little glimmer mist, some stickles and some MS glitter too. I LOVE glitter! YUM

Merry Christmas Everyone

Posting a day late! But Merry Christmas to everyone, I hope your day was wonderful! We are all very tired today, lots of presents, the kids were very happy with what they got. Best present I think was the girls dollhouse that we bought them, it's huge and it's had hours of play already! great investment :D

I managed a little scrappy time last night, I finished this layout, I did the border/frame before I decided what I would do with it, then I found a skatech I had printed from Liz Qualman at Creative Scrapbook so then went with that!

Had a paper cutting phobia for a while last night!!! took me a long time to get started! I LUURRVVVEEE all these new valentines papers that are just hitting the shelves one of my fav's is Fancy pants vintage valentine, I photoshoped this pic of Ceyda it was terrible before, red eyes colour was off, I love my photoshop! {insert happy dance here}

L-COM Reveal

Well after my last post! I have decided to do nothing! Anything else that Yasmin added to her list is probably just from listening to her friends in her class and what they wanted under the tree this year! I'm sure everyone will be happy this year, Grandad went crazy with his shopping list! and of course left the wrapping up to me! hehe.

Featured Product @ L-COM

So much for being organised for Christmas this year! I asked Yasmin what she wanted for Christmas this year WEEKS ago, and I have it all done! She comes home for lunch this afternoon, telling me about her wishlist she is sending in the mail to Santa at school! I said I'm all ears, so as I'm finishing up lunch she tells me about how she is asking him for a Black Bike, a BIG Bouncy ball and this list is going on and on with a few things that were on her original list, I'm picking up this giant doll house this afternoon which was $200 and now her BIG ticket item is a Bike! HELP!!! What do I do???

Anyhoo, just had to have a little rant!

On to my featured product at L-COM, This week I featured Journaling Sprouts from Jillibean Soup, I sprayed with glimmer mist and inked the edges and just tucked behind the photo, Not sure if this page would have a different title after our lunch this afternoon! (he he he)

Mini Cards and Holder

Hey! I have been MIA for a few days! Life is crazy right now! Well at least all my Christmas shopping is done! Just trying to finish up 2 more projects for the mail tomorrow, hoping they reach thier destination on time.
I made this set for my Step-Mom, well she's not really a step as they are not married but she has been  my dad's partner for the last 20+ years! Anyhoo, I also wrote up a tutorial over on L-COM if you want to find out how I made it.

Pink Paislee LOVE

Do you love Pink Paislee as much as I do? Did you know they are having a DT call? Well they are my absolute favourite company so I just have to apply! throw my hat into the ring as they say. I purchased a truckload of Pink Paislee Mistletoe from Scrapbook Dreamer and L-COM and it's so easy to work with! I love the colours really really love them.

Christmas Card & A Winner

Not much news here!! I have been scrapping but not much to share yet! I recieved a WONDERFUL early X-mas pressie, ok well I kinda sneakily ordered them, and then when I admitted it to Hubby he said they can be my chistmas pressie this year! Which I was super happy with! Wonder if I can swing another set for my birthday next year??? hehe
